By Arthur Le Neel September 30, 2026 2 minutes read

England U18 are set to play their third and final group-stage fixture at the UEFA Friendship Cup, with Korea Republic providing the opposition this Wednesday, 30 September at 10am in Nyon. The Young Lions have made a perfect start to the tournament with two wins from two, beating Colombia 3-2 before following that up with a 2-1 victory over Egypt. Already guaranteed to finish top of their group and progress to the semi-finals, Will Antwi’s side will now look to round off the group stage with another victory.

Founder and editor of Britannia Sport, I have, since 2023, chronicled the unfolding story of British sport, with a particular eye for emerging talent and the fortunes of our national teams. With a deep‑rooted passion for football, athletics, rugby and swimming, my understanding of sport has been shaped by the great international competitions, where national achievements take precedence over individual glory. A keen admirer of statistics, I take pleasure in casting light on athletes and disciplines too often overlooked, while offering a broad and exacting coverage of British sport in all its richness.
