England’s U15s, led by head coach Tom Curtis, are set to take part in an international tournament this May – a first taste of competitive international football for many of the young Lions. The squad will face Greece, Japan and Portugal between the 13th and 18th of May, with the tournament bringing together some of the most exciting young talents in English football. With pride and opportunity on the line, the players will be aiming to make a strong start and build momentum in their bid for silverware.

A promising dynamic to build on with a highly talented group.
The Young Lions head into the tournament with confidence after an impressive start to the year. England recorded back-to-back wins over Turkey in March friendlies, cruising to an 8-0 victory in the first match before securing a 3-0 result in the second. That was followed by a hard-fought 3-2 win and a commanding 4-0 triumph, allowing coach Neil Ryan to fine-tune his side and assess his options ahead of the upcoming tests.
This latest call-up features several familiar names from recent youth setups, alongside a host of long-anticipated first-time inclusions. In goal, Alfie Smith, Mikel Jack, Charlie Phillips and Lucca Benetton have all earned their places following strong form at club level. The defensive unit boasts a diverse mix of profiles – George Jobling, Heaven Kilwa and Joshua Kenchington among them – offering both solidity at the back and the ability to join the attack.
In midfield, the squad includes some of the most technically gifted and dynamic players of their generation. Jude Longman, Heze Grimwade and Reggie Watson are just a few to watch as they look to dictate the tempo and create opportunities. Up front, England will be hoping for attacking flair and final-third cutting edge from the likes of Kayden Sessegnon, Tyler Adjei and Joseph Junior Gabriel – all capable of producing moments of individual brilliance.
