England U19, managed by Will Antwi, are set to play their second friendly of the international break, taking on Wales in Spain. The Young Lions made the perfect start earlier in the week with a commanding 4–1 victory over Belgium, and this all-British encounter will give Antwi the chance to rotate his squad, offer minutes across the group, and fine-tune preparations ahead of next month’s crucial Euro U19 qualifying campaign.

England line-up to face Wales
For this camp, Will Antwi has named a 23-man squad, blending international experience with some of the country’s brightest young prospects. Among the standout names are Chris Rigg, the Sunderland midfielder already well established at senior level, and Mikey Moore, currently on loan at Glasgow Rangers from Tottenham Hotspur, who continues to shine north of the border.
In attack, Rio Ngumoha — already on the scoresheet for Liverpool’s senior side — and Jesse Derry (Chelsea) lead a vibrant new generation of forwards, while Trey Nyoni, who recently featured for the U20s, drops down a level to add quality and control in midfield. At the back, Stephen Mfuni and Harry Amass bring composure and experience from regular top-level exposure.
The squad also includes two exceptional youngsters born in 2009: Max Dowman (Arsenal) and Jeremy Monga (Leicester City), aged just 15 and 16 respectively — further proof of the incredible depth at England’s disposal. In the previous match, Shumaira Mheuka opened the scoring before Mikey Moore netted a superb hat-trick to secure the win.
