England U15 have confirmed their squad for the May 2026 international camp, which will see the Young Lions travel to Croatia for a demanding schedule featuring four matches in six days. Managed by Matt Thorpe, the camp gets underway on Tuesday 19 May against Japan, before England face Brazil the following day in one of the standout fixtures of the tournament. The Young Lions will then take on hosts Croatia on Friday 22 May, before concluding the week with a final placement match on Sunday 24 May against one of South Korea, Switzerland, the United States or Portugal.

A generation continuing to make its mark
As with previous camps, Matt Thorpe has largely kept faith with the core of players involved earlier this season, while also rewarding several youngsters who have continued to progress rapidly at club level. That continuity is particularly noticeable in midfield, where Luis Munoz (Arsenal) remains one of the standout talents of this age group. The highly-rated youngster became the youngest player in UEFA Youth League history this season, underlining just how highly he is regarded within English football.
Another familiar name is Luca Eden (Liverpool), who has now become a regular fixture in England youth squads. The creative midfielder, known for his passing range and composure in possession, continues to develop into one of the natural leaders within this group.
In attack, Kobi Akerele (Liverpool) is once again among the most eagerly anticipated players in the squad. After impressing during the December and February camps, the forward returns as one of the most explosive attacking profiles in this generation, capable of stretching defences with his pace and directness.
The squad also includes several players enjoying strong momentum at club level. At Manchester United, Joseph Akinsanya and Brian Nyonyi continue to enhance their reputations as two of the academy’s brightest prospects. Akinsanya, a modern full-back comfortable in both phases of the game, has become an increasingly reliable presence on the right-hand side, while Nyonyi’s physicality, defensive awareness and composure under pressure have drawn significant praise despite his young age.
Chelsea are once again heavily represented, with Eden Mahoney-Smith, Rico Sealey, Oliver Crofts and Eliah Semakula all included. The west London club continues to produce technically gifted youngsters already accustomed to high-level competition in academy football.
Another notable inclusion is defender Piers Pinnock of Benfica, highlighting the FA’s growing willingness to integrate English-qualified players developing abroad into the national setup.
