England U20 side, led by Ben Futcher, are gearing up for a clash with Italy during the March international window. As has been the case in recent camps, the Young Lions will play a single friendly fixture, scheduled for Friday 27 March at 3:30pm (local time) at the Riano Athletic Centre in Rome.

A blend of familiar faces and fresh additions
This England U20 selection continues to draw from a highly promising generation, with a number of players now gaining consistent exposure to senior football on a weekly basis. Among them, Jayden Meghoma—currently on loan at Rangers from Brentford—has impressed in the Scottish Premiership and is expected to anchor the defence as one of the squad’s leading figures.
In attack, the line is likely to be spearheaded by Jimmy-Jay Morgan and the dynamic Joel Ndala, both offering pace, movement and attacking versatility. The squad also features several first-time call-ups, including West Ham midfielder Preston Fearon and Manchester City’s Isiah Dada-Mascoll, alongside Norwich City forward Errol Mundle-Smith, who earns his maiden inclusion at this level.
Another notable inclusion is Kevin Pinto, a Portugal-born right-back currently playing for Benfica B, who receives his first call-up to the England setup, highlighting the FA’s continued efforts to integrate eligible dual-national talents.
