Will Antwi’s England U19 side continue their qualifying campaign in Lithuania, where they are based at the Raudondvaris Stadium for the three fixtures that will determine qualification for the 2026 U19 European Championship, set to be held in north Wales from 28 June to 11 July. The first two matches have already been played, with the Young Lions defeating Lithuania 2–0 — thanks to a brace from Chelsea forward Shumaira Mheuka — before sweeping aside Latvia 7–0, a result highlighted by a brilliant hat-trick from Jesse Derry, also of Chelsea.
Already guaranteed to finish top of the group, England will now be looking to sign off with another convincing win, ideally maintaining their perfect defensive record, as they take on Scotland in this final qualifier.

A deep, talent-packed squad
Will Antwi has named an expanded group of 23 players, blending international experience with some of the most exciting prospects in English football. Among them are Chris Rigg, a key figure in Sunderland’s midfield, and Mikey Moore, currently on loan at Rangers from Tottenham, who recently scored his first senior goal in Scotland.
In attack, Liverpool’s lively forward Rio Ngumoha and Chelsea’s Jesse Derry lead the new wave of offensive talent, while Trey Nyoni, who has already featured for the U20s, drops back down to strengthen the midfield. At the back, England can rely on Stephen Mfuni and Harry Amass, two players already accustomed to high-level battles.
The squad also includes two exceptional youngsters born in 2009 — Max Dowman (Arsenal) and Jeremy Monga (Leicester City) — aged just 15 and 16 respectively, further underlining the remarkable depth at England’s disposal.
