England U19, led by Will Antwi, continue their qualifying campaign in Lithuania, with all fixtures taking place at the Raudondvaris Stadium. These three matches will determine who progresses to the 2026 U19 European Championship, scheduled to be held in North Wales from 28 June to 11 July.
The opening match has already been played, with the Young Lions defeating Lithuania 2–0, thanks to a brace from Chelsea striker Shumaira Mheuka. England will now be looking to build on that strong start by securing another victory against Latvia.

A strong, well-balanced squad packed with talent
Will Antwi has selected an expanded 23-man squad, blending players with substantial international experience and several of the country’s brightest emerging prospects. Among the standouts is Chris Rigg, the Sunderland midfielder who has already become a key figure at senior level, and Mikey Moore, on loan at Rangers from Tottenham, fresh from scoring his first goal in Scotland.
In attack, Liverpool forward Rio Ngumoha, already involved several times with the first team, and Chelsea’s Jesse Derry lead the new attacking wave, while Trey Nyoni — recently promoted to the U20s — drops back down to bolster the midfield. At the back, Stephen Mfuni and Harry Amass bring a level of experience and maturity that belies their age, having already become accustomed to high-intensity football.
This squad, both deep and well-balanced, underlines the extraordinary depth of talent England possess at this age group. Notably, the group also includes two players born in 2009 — just 15 and 16 years old respectively: Max Dowman (Arsenal) and Jeremy Monga (Leicester City).
